update : April 23rd, 2009
So to update everyone everything is going really good with the new drummer.  He has learned a good amount of our songs so far including songs off our new upcoming cd.  He had pretty big shoes to fill but defintately stepped up his game.  We have another upcoming Jersey show and you can get information on it in our shows section or on our myspace.  Our new cd is nearly done being mixed again sorry for the long wait.  But be sure to check back for any new info.

Most of you already know through our bulletins that we no longer have CJ as a drummer.  But for those of you who do not, CJ had some serious issues that needed to be worked out that affected his lively hood.  So he was unable to keep drumming for Death Do Us Part.  But we have found a replacement drummer.  We did have to cancel some shows the past couple of weeks but we were fortunate enough to get our new drummer last week and in just a week and a half he has learned enough songs to enable us to play our upcoming shows this weekend.  Also our new cd is getting close to finished.  Yes this has been a ridiculously long process but it will be worth it in the end.  It is being mixed right now then it will be sent off to be mastered.  So keep checking back for the new jams and for new pics.

update : January 22nd, 2009
We are finally planning another tour.  It will be a short one though and east coast only.  We start February 27th to March 10th.  If you are a promoter in the east coast and you would like to book our band, contact us on myspace.  Looking forward to getting back on the road.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!!  I know we have been slacking with the updates and it probably seems like we aren't doing anything right now.  We have been working on our new full length cd as I have been saying in all the latest updates.  We just finished vocals and now we are gonna look over the songs to see how we can produce them a bit more before we get into the mixing process.  This cd has been taking long but will be worth the wait when it is done.  A lot of heart, sweat, and effort has went into this cd so far and we plan on keeping it that way the entire way through.  So we will do our best to keep you updated through this process but make sure to keep an eye out for when the first song is released.  Hope everyone has a great Christmas.

Had a great time at "Big Giant and the Extravaganza" on October 25th.  Met a lot of new faces and a lot of bigger band.  We want to thank Ted of East Coast Independent for getting us on the show.  If you get a chance, be sure to check out Ted's band split 50 at www.myspace.com/splitfifty.  Definately worth your time.

update : August 31st, 2008
We have a lot of plans for DDUP once we drop this new cd.  We are looking to do a long overdue tour sometime around February, new merch, and much more.  But until we do release the cd we will still be doing shows here and there while we record.  So be sure to keep checking out our show section and myspace for more shows.

update : August 1st, 2008
We have another show during this time that we are recording.  The show is wednesday August 20th.  So be sure to check out the shows section for more information.

update : June 19th, 2008
So far all the music is done for our new full length cd.  All that is left is the vocals.  As soon as we get a rough recording we will put it up on our myspace.  We have our first show next Saturday.  For more information check the shows section.  It will be our first show back with our new drummer.  See everyone there.

update : May 7th, 2008
So here's what has been going on with us as of now.  We have finally found a new drummer.  About time right?  Cj will be taking over Kyles duties to DDUP.  There will be new pics up soon.  We wish Kyle the best of luck with becoming a teacher and we still consider him part of the DDUP family.  We have a possible first show back in NY towards the end of June so keep on the lookout for that.  As for the cd.  The music is basically done.  Len of Landmine Sound took us to frankensound (www.frankensound.com) to do reamping for guitars.  They sound much fuller now and very beastly.  Looking forward to see how this comes out.  But the singing portion of the vocals will be recorded Tuesday by Tom.  Then after that we bring strum into the studio to do his vocals.  This cd will definately be our best work yet and tightest.

update : February 29th, 2008
Sorry for not keeping all you kids in touch of what's going on with DDUP.  So far we have laid down the drum tracks and majority of the guitar tracks.  We go back in the studio Sunday to finish up guitars and then we will figure out a day to do bass and then vox.  As for the Drummer situation.  We have tried out many drummers but no one has been solid yet  But we have a couple more guys trying out that are pretty promising.  So hopefully that works out so we can get back on the road and tour and do more shows aside from tour.  But be sure to keep checking back for more updates.

update : February 4th, 2008
So as you all know we had to drop the show yesterday.  Again sorry for being unable to play.  We definately plan on making it up to everyone once we find another drummer, since yesterday was supposed to be Kyles last show with us.  But as for recording, we are working with Len of Landmine Sound once again.  The drum tracks went incredibly well and we had a lot of fun recording them.  We head back into the studio for guitars on the 19th.  The cd release is kind of up in the air right now but we definately know that Filled With Hate Records will be releasing it once again.  So look forward to this next cd.

Happy New Years From all of us in Death Do Us Part.  Hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday.  What's planned for this new year with Death Do Us Part?  Well to start, a new cd.  We start recording at the end of this month.  Keeping checking back for more information on it.  New merch designs are also planned such as a new sticker design and more.  Also once we teach the new drummer all the songs we plan on touring as much as possible and to as many places as possible.  So be ready for this new year.  More good times to come.

update : November 30th, 2007
To start off the news, Happy Birthday to our Guitarist Craig.  He is now 21 years old.  New shirt designs in the Merch section.  So make sure to check it out.  Also we have a couple shows to kick off the new year.  For more information go to the shows section.  We are still on for recording in January.  So once we get a rough recording we will put it up on our myspace so everyone can hear what the new DDUP will sound like.  If you want to hear new songs first hand be sure to go to our shows to hear two of the new songs that will be on the cd.

update : October 3rd, 2007

Alright so it's about time we update you on what is going on with DDUP.  We will finally be getting our transmission fixed on our van sometime within the next two weeks.  So hopefully once it's fixed we will be playing more shows.  Aside from that we have a show at the end of November.  Go to the shows section to see more information.  By going to this show and saying you are there to see us, you can help us win money towards our next recording.  We will have a new shirt design for that show so be sure to check it out.

What have we been doing lately?  Finishing up our follow up cd to "Legend" so that we can record in January.  We are set to record around the first week in January.  So look forward to hearing the new DDUP.  It's gonna be more catchy, more upbeat, heavy, heartfelt, and at the same time it will still be fun.

update : August 19th, 2007

We are finally back from our two week tour with When These Days End.  This was probably our hardest tour yet.  We dealt with heat problems, money issues, bad promoters, getting pulled over by the cops, and so on.  Though it was a comfortable ride because of our new van, the heat changed that.  We dealt with 106 degree weather with no air conditioning.  Due to the heat and the weight of the trailer our air conditioner did not work well and actually started to over heat the engine.  So we were unable to use it.  The money issues were due to the lack of promotion on most of the shows.  Because some of the shows were not promoted well, we did not get the gas money we asked for from the promoters.  So most of the money came out of our pocket.  As for the promoters that did promote and just got screwed over because of a bigger show close by, thanks for all the hard work and we look forward to working with you again.  Now about us getting pulled over.  We got pulled over not for speeding, not for failure to wear seatbelts, but because of obstruction of view from a scented tree on the rear view mirror haha.  Actually that only gave the cop a reason to pull us over.  The officer was actually looking for a black van pulling a black trailer and we just happened to fit the description.  The cop actually turned out to be really cool and directed us to some good sites around the area.  O and we didn't get any tickets naturally because we weren't the vehicle they were looking for.

But aside from all the hardships during this tour, this was actually one of the best times we ever had.  We got to tour with good friends and we got to experience new places with them.  A lot of good times during this tour in my opinion canceled out all the hard times.  Thanks to all the new friends we made on tour and thank you to everyone who came out to see us.  Also we apologize to everyone who went to the Massachussetts show yesterday looking forward to see us.  We got halfway there and the transmission started slipping pretty bad on the van.  So to be safe we turned back before we messed up our engine completely.  Once we get the van worked on we will make it up to you.  But we are looking forward to touring much more.  First thing is first though.  We need to finish up our next full length cd and get recording.  Recording as of right now is planned to start in January.  So make sure to keep looking for updates.

Hey everyone.  Sorry for the lack of updates.  The New York show we played last Friday went pretty well.  We just want to thank our boy John Bowes for letting us borrow his van to get to the show.  Our van is still being worked on.  So we wouldn't of been able to make it to the show without him.  Also be sure to check out Johns band CDC if you haven't heard of them yet.  As for our East Coast tour, all the dates are almost booked.  So be sure to check them out on our myspace and purevolume.

update : March 12th, 2007

As you can tell we don't have a lot of shows lined up.  This is because we are once again starting to write new material.  So far the new material we have done as of now we are very happy with.  As usual it will be upbeat, hard hitting, full of emotion, and most of all fun.  We do not plan on releasing these songs live until we start to record them.  As of right now we only have a few new song's finished so it is not enough to record our follow up full length cd just yet.  Also be sure to go to our myspace and read our new blog.  In the blog there is a flyer sheet you can print up, cut out, and hand out.  It's not a flyer sheet for a show we are playing.  It is a flyer sheet with all our websites on it so people can check us out.  So make sure to print our flyers out and hand them out to friends, put them in your local music store, and etc.  Remember, the fans and listeners are the ones who make all us bands what we are.  So keep supporting your local music and music in general.

update : March 2nd, 2007
We will be opening up the show with Hoods on Tuesday, March 6th.  So make sure to be there early enough to catch our set.  Spread the word and look forward to more new merch.

update : February 12th, 2007
We are finally home from tour!!!!  A little early but all good.  We had a few dates at the end that were cancelled and the van was running a little rough so we decided it was safest to just head home.  Our newest members Kyle and Matt really stepped up.  This was their first tour ever.  So we are happy we got to share their first tour experience with them.  Also for them just hopping in DDUP right before tour they did an incredible job.  Congrats guys on finishing your first tour with us and we are looking forward to sharing more tours with you.  Again welcome to DDUP.  Aside from that tour went great.  We did have a little problem in California where our trailer was almost broken into.  But luckily they weren't able to get in.  All they left was a beat up trailer latch.  But that was fixed the day of.  But keep on checking out our sites, rack up listens, and spread the word because this is just the beginning of Death Do Us Part.

update : February 1st, 2007

Tour update from California.  We are almost halfway through our US tour and everything is going great.  We have been able to see places we would have never imagined of seeing and we are looking forward to see the rest of the US.  So far the scenes from the different states have had great reactions for us and our brother bands on the tour.  Now to see how the rest of the US reacts to DDUP.  Much love from all of us in Death Do Us Part and hope to see everyone at our upcoming shows.

update : january 11th, 2007
New update on the band.  We have two new member changes to announce.  As you all probably know Rob did not work out on bass.  He had a job offer he could not refuse and we wish him the best of luck with everything.  So stepping up to the position is our good friend Matt.  Matt has played only two shows with us so far but is already fitting in the band perfectly.  As for the other change, it was a hard decision for us but we have parted ways with our drummer James.  It was a mutual agreement that he has to get his life together at this time.  So we will be there to help him get back on his feet because he is still our close friend and brother.  Stepping up to the position of drummer is another good friend of ours, Kyle.  January 17th will be Kyles' first show with us.  So make sure to come check out our upcoming shows to see the new lineup.  Welcome to the Death Do Us Part family guys.  We expect good things out of you.

New upcoming shows in the show section.  Try to make sure to come out to support us and all the other bands playing.  Especially January 4th.  The January 4th show is a benefit to help us out with a little money for tour.  So the more people that come, the better.  Also tour dates for the Jan/Feb tour are being booked so make sure to keep checking out our myspace for booked dates.  In merch news, we have a new shirt design coming.  You can check it out in our merch section.  They should be out within this month.  Posters will also be in soon.  Sorry for the delay.  But make sure to keep racking up those listens and spread the word.

New site coming soon. The new site will be based around our new cd "Legend" which you can buy online now at our labels webshop. Also for all of you who did not know. We do have a new bassist. Although he is not so new. He has been with us for a while now. We just have been too lazy to take new pics. But now we have new pics up so now we can finally introduce him. Welcome to the Death Do Us Part family Ryan. You have been doing an incredible job as our new bassist. You can check out our new pics on myspace or on our media page of this site. As for tour. Everything went great. We got to share the stage with great bands like Hoods, Tony Tapdance Extravaganza, Ramallah, Emmure, My Bitter End, and The Kisscut. Tourin with Left to Vanish and Of Graves and Gods were great times. It's a shame we didn't get to go out on the whole month tour with them. But we definately plan on doing more shows with our brothers in LTV and OGAG in the future. Within a week we made more close great friends and we look forward to touring a lot more.
